This 1 day of prep will help to give you the skills and knowledge ready for your assessment of your leader award when you are ready.

This is a non certificated training course to give you the skills, rescues and leadership training required. Almost a MOT of your leadership and skills .

Skills - will be looking at skills of paddling your prefers craft and the skills needed for other craft you may be leading.

Leadership - will be looking at a range of leadership models and structures.the day will also cover equipment and navigation.

Rescues - will be based around rescuing different craft, group management and self rescues. Also sort out problems that occur and problem solving.

We will give you a full Acton plan and guidance at the end of your course so you can keep practicing the skills and knowledge we give to you.
