The Paddlesport Leader is aimed at paddlers who wish to lead groups on both wind affected and slow moving sheltered water. Leaders can choose to specialise in canoe, kayak, stand up paddleboard or multi-craft.
During the two days training we will cover the following:
- Participant focused leadership skills
- Personal paddling skills
- Rescue skills
- Underpinning background knowledge, understanding and experience
This qualification is ideal for those working in activity centers, clubs, or leading school/community groups. The assessment ensures the leader can handle, manage, and secure a group in a sheltered water environment
