British Canoeing Paddlesport safety and rescue
This training course is intended for all paddlers, coaches and volunteers irrespective of craft or discipline choice, and is available in either bank-based or boat-based option.It provides training on key skills needed to operate safely and deal with common emergencies in a sheltered water environment. These skills then form the foundations for safety and rescue throughout British Canoeing awards.

British Canoeing Introduction to White Water Safety
The course will focus on your needs and you will paddle your chosen craft through out the programme.
So, whether you are paddling with friends or your club, or working towards a leadership assessment, this practical course is packed with safe practical solutions. It doesn’t matter about your age or whether you’re relatively new to paddling in white water, this course supports your knowledge and raises your awareness of your personal safety.
If you need any more convincing, the course is completely based around training and raising awareness, with no assessment. Structured to support you, our experienced tutors will ensure you have plenty of time practicing, as well as understanding how you can develop skills and build experience after the course.
The White Water Safety and Rescue Training is designed for all paddlers operating in white water environment, either in a kayak or canoe or Sup .It aims to teach simple and practical safety and rescue skills that can be applied appropriately to a moderate white water environment.
The Advanced White Water Safety and Rescue Training course is specifically designed around the needs of white water paddlers.It develops on the principles and techniques taught in the White Water Safety and Rescue training course, and considers their application in the advanced environment. this can be done in kayak , canoe or OC1
