White water kayaking on the Soca river in Slovenia.

This course is for intermediate white water kayakers that want to paddle under guidance and receive coaching to tackle Grade 2-4 white water rapids.

Six days guiding and coaching in the fabulous Soca valley, The Soca offers some outstanding sections of river for developing confidence and brushing up on skills and making them more modern and dynamic.

Over the six days you will cover tactical moves, River running skills and learn to play the river.

As well as this you will kayak and enjoy the scenic gorges and snow capped mountains around you.

Brexit transition

All European paddling courses in 2021 maybe subject to change or cancellation due to the ongoing brexit trade negotiations. Currently with no deal being signed, we are unsure about what permission may be needed or the format of working in Europe. As soon as this matter is resolved we will update this page. Please not all deposits will be refunded if work in Europe is not allowed, please contact us for further information.

WHAT DOES THIS COURSE INCLUDE?:

• Personal paddling skills
• Accomodation - Self catered 
• Airport pickup/drop off - £50 per person extra ( this is paid via bank transfer)
• kayak transfer from the Uk - £70 per boat extra ( this is paid via bank transfer)
• Leadership trainig or assessment courses or skill awards ( if booked before trip starts due to admin)
• kayaks and equipment can be hired from a local kayak shop or you can fly you kayak over 

Accommodation for 2021

We use accommodation based in Bovec, close to cafes and bars for a perfect place to relax and enjoy after kayaking all day. Located in the quiet residential Mala Vas (or "Little Village") area of Bovec,

Mala Vas Chalet offers a great blend of peace, quiet and great views with easy access by foot to all the amenities of central Bovec (bars / restaurants / shops / adventure - activity providers etc) and a few minutes’ from the stunning Soca River, considered to be one of the most beautiful parts of Slovenia. The Soca River offers the opportunity for kayaking, white water rafting, or just relaxing on the banks.
