The twenty years of experience under his boat started from white water and competeing for Great Britain in surf kayaks. Darren has spent many summers in Europe and USA  learning the rivers , Coaching and guiding groups in white water,surf and sea.

kayak or canoe Darren is happy in all environments and this shows in his Coaching, training and assessments.

Darren also is a home nation trainer for Paddles up training and British canoeing for Coaching , safety and rescue and leadership awards. This give him the opportunity to train the trainers with the knowledge and experience he has gained over many years of doing the job for real.
