The upper dart is a challenging grade 4 white water river that has many features to challenge an advanced developing paddler. We keep low ratios and give lots of top tips and coaching to make the best trip on a classic advanced white water river.
We also have some the best grade 4 in the UK on Dartmoor for lots of adventure and paddling.

When do winter sessions run?
Where do we meet?
Winter coaching runs safely from November to March, coinciding with the prime rainfall season for Dartmoor rivers.
Meeting points vary by river levels to ensure we find the best conditions. Common spots include Newbridge or Dartmeet.
Do I need my own equipment?
What if it is not raining?
Yes. Participants bring their own river kit, boat, and paddle. A drysuit is highly recommended for cold water safety.
We will select a flowing alternative or reschedule to guarantee a high-quality, high-water coaching experience.
